    You need this poncho in your car/truck

    This poncho is a big upgrade from the usual thin and flimsy plastic emergency poncho. Its larger size, heavy weight and ability to contain body heat is just what you need. I was checking my emergency preparedness supplies in my truck and came to the conclusion that I needed to upgrade some of those supplies from the bare minimum to something that would serve me best if I really needed it. The rain poncho I had in my kit was the first thing I noted that needed to be upgrades. I bought four of these ponchos as my upgrade and I am glad I did. After they arrived I opened the package to find something that If I ever need this poncho, it will serve me well. I may get some more for family and friends.

    Ultimate Rainy Day Savior!

    I can’t express how grateful I am to have had the PREPARED4X Emergency Rain Poncho with Mylar Blanket Liner in my car when I needed it most.     Bought to keep people dry and warm

    We bought these to donate to our local shelter to give to those who can’t, or won’t, stay. I like that they are light but the mylar is hard to tear. They can keep people dry from rain, but their body heat is contained.

    Excellent product to keep in your vehicle, backpack, RV, kayak, tailgate party, etc. Durable and well worth the money if you get caught up in the rain or heavy snow storm Kept me dry and was not obtrusive to wear.

    These are great additions to my 72 hour bug-out bag

    I got these in case of emergency. I have added them to the 72 hour bug-out bag. The main things that makes them bug-out bag material is 1) the reflective layer that makes them warmer, 2) the hunters orange color of the outer layer. I bought two boxes so there are more than enough for the family. I recommend this for your families 72 hour bug-out bag. These are thicker and take a little more room, but they are worth it.

    Much flimsier than the marketing suggests

    In the marketing illustrations, these ponchos seem to drape like a fabric or a quilted tarpaulin. That’s not the reality. I don’t know how they get it to do that in the pictures (and whatever they’re doing, I wish they wouldn’t), but the real thing is as flimsy and lightweight as a space blanket.Which is not a bad thing, at all. These are not sold as a garment for everyday wear — though, I daresay, with care they could be used as such. This is basically a space blanket that is metallic-shiny only on the inside, and intended, as the packaging states, for emergency use. Lightweight and compact, they take up little space in a backpack and can even be carried in a pants pocket, a very handy feature.This is basically a wearable space blanket that reflects rather than dissipates body heat, and keeps precipitation off. If you’re looking for a rain poncho, it might be better to look elsewhere, but for its designed purposed, this works well.

    Worked great during tropical storm

    I had to continue to run outside during our tropical storm near end of August to empty water buckets/pails over a period of 6 hours on Friday and another 4 hours on Sunday. The poncho worked beautifully and kept all the water off me. Easy to pull on and take off. It’s a keeper and highly recommend

    Just ordered four more.

    I got caught in the rain coming out of the supermarket – fortunately I had one of these in my knapsack. It kept my head and upper body, dry and warm and my knapsack dry. I was cycling so my legs got wet but I was a lot more comfortable having this. I wish it was longer but otherwise it met my expectations. The orange color is good for visibility cycling in traffic in the rain. I am ordering another four so I can be sure to have them when and where I might need one.

    Life-Saving Pack –

    As the owner of a small business and a dad to a toddler son and teenage daughter, there’s no time for me to hesitate when I’m caught in the rain. That’s why I purchased the PREPARED4X Emergency Rain Poncho with Mylar Blanket Liner for emergency protection from the weather. And boy am I glad that I did! Its heavy duty material kept me warm even as temperatures dropped. What impressed me as well was how easy it was to install: simply put on like a regular poncho, and you’re set! 🤩The one downside is that it’s meant for only one-time use, so once you’ve used it, it can be quite hard to restore back its original shape. Other than that though? Highly recommended product! 😁🙌

    Hope I don’t need it but glad I have it…

    For less than $4.50 each this might be money well spent if I ever need it. I received a box with four ponchos in it individually wrapped. I have already put two of them in my hiking day pack for my adventures in the mountains.Hardly a week goes by that I don’t read of a mountain rescue which highlights poor preparation and lack of the proper equipment for those being rescued. These are lightweight and a no-brainer to add to a list of essentials that might save a life. No, they will not provide a rugged reusable rain and cold solution but they will likely provide enough shelter and heat retention to keep you warm, somewhat dry and alive till help arrives or you figure out how to deal with problems. Do you really expect more than that for less than $4.50?I like the idea of knowing I have two of these in my standard day hiking pack. Should misfortune, bad weather or rendering assistance to someone that has encountered problems arise I am confident that these will prove their value.

    Blessed to be a Blessing

    My daughter befriended a homeless man last year and she has been actively stopping to talk, pray and gift him with small things that he needs. Since this is so near and dear to her heart, my husband and I wanted to be supportive and together we have started putting together routine care packages for him and some of his friends. Is has been quite rainy here in Maryland so I thought these ponchos would be a good addition to the next care packages we put together for them. We are blessed to be a blessing and I pray that this small act will be what they need when they need it.

    Wanted for a variety of uses!

    I like the reflective vs. the OD green surface. If you want to be found or if you want to hide, good options.I needed at least 2, one for a poncho and the other as a small waterproof tarp shelter build. My wife wanted one for her glove box in case she has to use it in the rain to change a flat tire. That leaves a spare. Good price on the 4 pack of these ponchos. I hope not to have to use them, but better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it! My two will go in my get-home bag, in a kit I am building! In that kit I will carry a roll of green Gorilla tape, just in case they rip so I can repair them if needed!Stay prepared and stay safe!
