Came promptly and well bixedy
Came in a double box, plastic canisters in tact, no issues so far… Didn’t open containers yet, as they are for emergencies… But I may open one soon, try a “sample” package for dinner one night… I’ll write another review after 👍But I’m happy so far !!

seems like a good deal
Rating this as 5 stars, as for the price, it appears to be a good deal. I was a bit skeptical at first seeing a fair amount of other reviews mentioning problems with their orders, however, mine arrived correctly and in good shape. I inspected the interior of both containers and did not find anything torn or ripped open. The plastic containers themselves were also free of any damage (the seals on the lids of mine are missing as I did not think to take the pictures until after I had opened and inspected them).Do note that they squeeze quite a bit of food into these canisters, and getting it packed back in may be a bit of a challenge, so I can definitely see the potential for some damage to the product to occur when the company is packing these to be sold. Most of the production/lot codes on my products indicated they had been manufactured in July-September 2021, meaning the contents are less than two months old. The containers, for reference, are about the size of a similarly shaped canister of cat litter, though much less heavy.I have not tried any of the food yet so I cannot rate it for taste, but if I do decide to sample some, I may update this review.

Packed full of goods. Delivery guy said the boxes felt like five bowling balls. If I should ever need to open the buckets, I’ll discover exactly what it is that is so heavy.

Emergency food supply
Will use this product for emergency food needs such as for natural and other catastrophies. Will try one of the packets for taste and edibility. It would be great if there were low sodium versions, though.

Broken packages, powder everywhere, some old dates
Saw the other reviews noting the poor packaging and leaked contents but I figured I’d take a shot anyways. One piece of info I couldn’t find anywhere is the water necessary for rehydration. I did the math and, according to the directions, fully rehydrating all the food in both buckets (30-day emergency) requires ~211 cups of water (1688oz or 13gal+24oz or 50L). You will need a large amount of water in order to consume these in an emergency. One bucket had a punctured pancake mix and a ton of powder covering everything in the bucket (pictures). The spot punctured is right in the middle of the package and it was butted against the smooth center of another package so this was definitely not something that occurred during shipping from another package’s sharp edge. The other pancake mixes also had marks on the packaging but were still air tight. I would guess it’s some sort of machine in their manufacturing process causing this. Regardless, these were packed with holes in them and ignored so both manufacturing and quality control needs major improvement. The other bucket (with the mac & cheese and alfredo packs) also had a small amount of cheese powder on a few packages. I squeezed each of the packages and they all seemed to be airtight so it may have just been residue from sealing the packages. However, one of the apple cinnamon cereals was also punctured and squeezing it gently hissed out air.Manufacturing dates are abysmal. I had hoped they would be fresher given that they seem to ship directly from the manufacturer and weren’t sitting in an Amazon warehouse for months. Manufacturing dates for what I received (order shipped 02/25/2022):Beans: 12/27/2021Whey milk: 11/16/2021Banana chips: 11/10/2021Rice: 11/03/2021Pancake mix: 10/12/2021Mac & cheese: 03/04/2021Maple cereal: 03/04/2021Alfredo: *08/29/2019*Tortilla soup: *08/21/2019*Apple cereal: *08/19/2019*Things manufactured within the past year seems very reasonable but 10% of the shelf life is already gone from about 1/4 of the food. Maybe my expectations are off-base but the “UP TO 25 year shelf life” seems like it should mean 25 year shelf life as long as I store it properly. The bonus here is that it wasn’t shipped by Amazon so hopefully the food was all stored properly by the manufacturer. At the price for what you get, I guess it’s hard to beat. But for peace of mind knowing that your emergency food will all be consumable and fresh when you need it, this loses all stars. 3200 calories are gone already from an unsealed pancake mix and cereal. Maybe more if one of the pastas is actually not sealed anymore. Would not recommend, would not purchase from this company again.

Decent for the price
First off I can’t speak on the quality of the food or taste but I can speak on packaging.I would expect that there would be individual packages for each meal for each day but that is not the case, As you can see in the pictures. However for the price I don’t think this is a bad investment and I would purchase again. But if anyone at readywise reads this I would highly recommend repackaging the meals into smaller bags. Have a blessed day!

I like the easy storage with the stack-able Buckets. I opened one Bucket to inspect but haven’t tried for taste. They appear to be correct on the amount and the individual bags appear to all be intact and sealed. Glad I have this for when the SHTF.

Disappointing
I ordered the 72 hour emergency food kit. It was advertised as having 3 meals: teriyaki rice, Mac and cheese and tortilla soup. When the item arrived it only has Mac and cheese and Teriyaki rice. I am very disappointed in the lack of variety and I am unable to return the item. It is a non returnable food item so I’m stuck with it. I would’ve just bought a few packs of Mac and cheese if I knew that would be all that I’d get. I spent $30 on Mac and cheese and rice, I feel ripped off.

Clean, secure, solid packaging
I wouldn’t say I “fell for the apocalyptic predictions” but I believe in preparing just in case. The world is getting crazier every day and buying this 3 month stash of food will never be a “stupid move.” Mine came 4 days early and in well packaged, HEAVY plastic buckets. There’s a lot of food in there. I bought it on Prime day, saving me a hundo, which was nice. Taste notwithstanding, it simply gives me peace of mind knowing that I have it. You’re not buying a five star, Gordon Ramsey culinary experience with every dish, you’re buying survival food. Which if the proverbial “s$&@ hits the fan” you’ll be happy you did. It literally gives you peace of mind.We are on Earth in 2023.You should have survival food, a firearm, some cash on hand, and water.Be smart.

Good to have for a family as the servings are packaged in six to twelve servings. It would be nice if it was packaged in all single serving packages. But all in all 5 stars.

Ready for anything
Comes with two containers each individually sealed. Sealed so well that I don’t have to worry about ants getting into it over time as I store it away for long periods of time. The container is also a thick plastic too so it’s sturdy. Also comes with a wide variety of food options which I prefer over one repeated item!

Product shipped is not product in pictures!
The product that showed up only has 30 servings in 4 pouches. Not 32 in 5 pouches as shown in the advertisement. Pictures of actual product shared here. Packaging clearly labels 30 servings and 4 pouches on the packaging. It’s probably still edible and wonderful. But it is not as advertised. I bought other 72 hour kits and I wanted smaller pouches with more variety rather than each day be one meal. These are 6 serving pouches. That’s a big meal for one person. And they are not resealable bags so you better bring a way to store it since it’s going to need to be around for another meal. It is very hard to find two serving pouches anymore. But 6 is too big. The 5 pouch system looked like they were 4 serving pouches, that sounded a lot more manageable.Also. The Mac and cheese has you boil the noodles in 5 cups of water……and dump it out. So bring lots of water to waste. This is very expensive for a box of Mac and cheese that’s supposed to be freeze dried and or ready to eat.

False advertising
The total calories in both buckets equals 16,880 calories. For a minimum 1800 calories per day, this should equal to 54000 for a 30 day supply. These two buckets equal 9.337 days of food. Scammed.

Slightly Flawed Peace of mind
With everything going on in the world today it’s best to be as self reliant as possible… Better to have it and not need it, Than need it and not have it right? When my buckets arrived I opened them to check for the notorious exploded pancake mix bags like so many have had problems with. I luckily found none. I didn’t go through each bucket in their entirety but noticed a major flaw with the packaging of the meals… Tortilla Soup packets (and I’m assuming without looking, everything else as well) are packaged as 4 servings / bag. Add 4 cups of water to the bag contents and each serving is 1 cup… Now in a situation where you are trying to maximize and get a full 30 days out of the buckets you’re preparing 4 servings at once and having to set aside and store up to 3 more servings for a later time in a possible no power / no refrigeration scenario. Sure if you have the ability you can always weigh the contents of each bag and divide by weight to make each 1C serving at a time. But these meals are SUPPOSED to be designed for situations in which you may not be able to make measurements like that. I may just be whining but it seems to me it would be a lot smarter and easier for the end user, if they packaged each serving in its own packet. Yes it’s makes more packaging for the company to do but it’s absolutely not an unreasonable ask. For what’s included in these buckets their profit margins should be plenty high enough to cover the maybe 5 cents MAX extra per bag… I’m glad to have it but absolutely only three stars for the laziness of not giving you smart packaging.

Good Emergency Supply
Although it was a bit bland, a little salt fix that right away. I had ordered a variety box 1st to try out the flavors to see if the food was good. It was surprisingly tasty although not seasoned enough. That’s probably a smart move though since most people have different preferences on levels of salt and spices etc. Overall it’s a good buy and it’s good food. I put it on an automatic monthly order to build up a supply for my family. Every order of a one month supply is a one week supply for my family of four. Be Prepared. Food shortages could be closer than you think.

Buckets look brand new
The buckets seem to be in excellent condition. I can’t rate the food yet because I haven’t tried it, going to keep the buckets sealed and hope that I will never have to use them. The buckets were clean and sealed nicely. I am going to order more soon. This emergency food is something that you are going to want to have just incase. With a 25 year shelf life I would say that these buckets of emergency food are well worth the price.

Not really thrilled about this purchase
I purchased this because I work in the oil fleid and at times can be stuck out on location for days at a time due to weather. I wanted to carry about 3 or so days of this with me. The bucket seems to be the only good thing about this. I purchased the 2 bucket(15 days each) 30 day supply. The BBQ beams and chessey macaroni packages have multiple pins holes in them or look like they do. Why are these not vaccum sealed The packages are not resealable and contain 4 servings per package, why? I want to make one serving and be able to reseal the package or make each bag one serving each.Your ad says to just add water. Pancakes says to add some cooking oil. This kit takes a lot of water. Better have some stored away and I don’t mean a couple gallons. The labels on the packages are so small they are barely readable and have to be in just the right light or were a bit worn off. I relabeld mine with a sharpy.Make the 2 bucket kit even out with the packages. Don’t give me 3 or 5 of something and 6 of everything else. Just even out the buckets.I made the BBQ beans and the tortilla rice. Didn’t taste bad and didn’t taste good. Decent enough for emergencies though. They don’t give you individual instructions, it’s for the whole packet. Who is going to make 4 servings of a packet all at once, just so that the rest go to waste in a SHTF type of situation. Like we’ll have a way to store it after it’s cooked.Too many small oddities with this purchase and I’m not happy about it. It is not what I expected at all. Maybe I’ll look into some MREs.

Great service with my products.
This order was received very fast, and I had an issue that could have been a problem fixed very easily and in a timely manner. I had a couple of bags have a pinhole in them, but I can see how that could happen very easily. But don’t worry about that, just open the container and check everything. They will give you a replacement and fast,if there’s an issue. I can handle issues, but I despise problems. They turned a problem into an issue by treating me like they would want to be treated. I say don’t be concerned about buying this product for two reasons. First, excellent portions and tastes good. Second, the service is second only to the product, and it may even be first. They have my business on lockdown. Hope this helps anyone concerned about quality of product and service.

Terrible Packaging, Sugary Food
I was disappointed with this product from the minute I opened it. The bags are extremely flimsy and the majority of them came with some type of puncture or hole, rendering the long term storage promise of 25 years inaccurate. As many others noted, the orange drink mix had exploded and gotten all over the contents in the box, so not only is it unusable, it made a mess. I wouldn’t stick these in a backpack to go camping, etc for fear they’d rip while inside. Also, the meal options are subpar. There’s a large amount of white rice, which is easy and cheap to store long-term yourself, so that’s a bit of a rip off. Also, half of the contents are sugary options such as cereal, granola, pancake mix etc (which are all also very easy and inexpensive to package long term on your own). The one box with the savory meal options was fine, but there are better choices out there (check out ReadyHour). Won’t be purchasing again.

Packaging appears substantial
I rated this product with a 5 star just for the packaging. The other elements of flavor and value will have to wait because It was purchased as an emergency food supply and won’t be used until then. I expect to do some camping in the Fall so may get a jump on the emergency bit and try it out at camp.

Worth the money
We have not tried any of the foods but we live in an areas that frequently has hurricanes and we always end up buying food that will get us through but not things we would normally eat (like canned fruits and veggies). When we don’t use them after so long we end up just giving them away so they do not go bad. I figured this was the perfect solution as it has a long shelf life. We opened the containers as people have stated they were missing things or had broken bags in their containers. We had everything there but we did end up with a couple bags that had been broken open. We through those out but the rest seem good to go.

Don’t get caught off guard! Protect your family.
I have spend a significant portion of my life preparing for the worst possible scenarios. My extensive time in Special Operations taught me a lot about quality products that enhance performance. The ReadyWise 30-day emergency food supply is the perfect purchase for any emergency that might catch you off-guard. Harsh winter weather, extreme fires, or perhaps hurricanes, all have the ability to catch us ill prepared. This product is easy to store in your home and last forever. And after having to eat MRE’s for years I promise you the taste of these meals are exceptional compared to other products on the market. I’ve been using ReadyWise products for years and haven’t been let down. Do yourself and your family a favor and be prepared for the unexpected worse possible scenario.

No flavor, poor design.
Bought this to take camping. Didn’t realize when it said multiple servings that they were all in one bag for each item. Bags are not resealable, says it works with cold water but will take really long to rehydrate, and they are very bland. They have a 25 year shelf life so maybe I’ll find a use for them in that time frame. I made the Mac and cheese which had a great consistency but was incredibly bland. Zero flavor. 0/10 would not buy again and would recommend literally any other freeze dried food product. Incredibly disappointing.

Bought this for emergency use only!
Glad I bought this! I’m not giving a review on the flavor because this is for emergencies only so it really could taste like dog doo doo and I would still eat it (I read reviews that most of the items taste fine). I like the fact that you only need heated water to prepare. I wish it was a 60 day supply but this is what I could afford at the moment. The canisters are tightly sealed and need only to remove the plastic strip to open them. Happy with this purchase!
